The Teacher’s Surprise

Ms. Harper was everyone’s favorite teacher at Willow Creek Elementary. She always made learning fun, with creative games and exciting projects. One day, she told the class, “Tomorrow, we’re having a surprise. Be ready for an adventure!”

The students buzzed with excitement, guessing what the surprise could be. “Maybe we’re going on a field trip,” said Jake. “Or maybe she’s bringing a magician!” added Lily.

The next morning, Ms. Harper walked into the classroom holding a large box. The students leaned forward in their seats, eager to see what was inside. With a dramatic pause, she opened the box to reveal…a collection of tiny robots!

“These are coding robots,” Ms. Harper explained. “Today, we’re going to learn how to program them.”

The class erupted in cheers. Each student got a robot and a tablet to control it. Ms. Harper taught them how to give simple commands, like moving forward, turning, or spinning in a circle. The students worked together to create obstacle courses for their robots to navigate.

By the end of the day, the classroom was filled with laughter and excitement. The students couldn’t stop talking about how much fun they’d had. “Best surprise ever!” said Mia as she packed up her things.

Ms. Harper smiled. She loved seeing her students light up with curiosity and joy.
