The Little Farmer

The Little Farmer

Once upon a time, in a small village surrounded by lush green fields, lived a boy named Raju. Although he was only eight years old, Raju was known as the “little farmer” because he loved helping his father in the fields. Every morning, he would wake up early, gather his tiny tools, and head to the farm with his father.

One day, a terrible drought struck the village. The fields dried up, and the crops began to wither. The villagers were worried about their harvest. But Raju had an idea. “Father,” he said, “why don’t we dig a canal from the nearby river to water our fields?” His father smiled but explained that it was a lot of work for the villagers.

Determined, Raju began digging a small canal on his own. Seeing his dedication, the other villagers joined in. Together, they completed the canal, and soon water flowed into the fields, saving their crops. Raju’s hard work and determination inspired everyone, and he became a hero in the village.
