 The Honest Boy

In a small village, there lived a boy named Karan who was known for his honesty. One day, while walking home from school, he found a wallet lying on the ground. Inside were several hundred rupees and an ID card.

Karan knew the right thing to do. He took the wallet to the village headman, who recognized the owner as Mr. Sharma, a local shopkeeper. When Karan returned the wallet, Mr. Sharma was overwhelmed with gratitude. He offered Karan a reward, but Karan politely declined, saying, “Doing the right thing is reward enough.”

Word of Karan’s honesty spread throughout the village, and he became a role model for others. His simple act of truthfulness showed everyone the importance of integrity.

الولد الأمين

في قرية صغيرة، عاش فتى يُدعى كاران، عُرف بأمانته. في أحد الأيام، أثناء عودته من المدرسة، وجد محفظة ملقاة على الأرض. بداخلها مئات الروبيات وبطاقة هوية.

عرف كاران الصواب. فأخذ المحفظة إلى عمدة القرية، الذي تعرّف على صاحبها، السيد شارما، وهو تاجر محلي. عندما أعاد كاران المحفظة، غمر السيد شارما بالامتنان. عرض على كاران مكافأة، لكن كاران رفضها بأدب قائلاً: "الصدق مكافأة كافية".

انتشر صدق كاران في القرية، وأصبح قدوة للآخرين. أثبت صدقه البسيط للجميع أهمية النزاهة.
