 The Eid Feast

In a small village, Eid was the most awaited festival of the year. Zainab and her family spent days preparing for the feast, cooking biryani, kebabs, and sweet seviyan. This year, Zainab noticed that her neighbor, an elderly man named Mr. Khan, lived alone and didn’t seem to have any visitors.

On the day of Eid, Zainab and her siblings prepared a special plate of food and took it to Mr. Khan’s house. His eyes welled up with tears as he invited them in. He shared stories from his youth and thanked them for their kindness.

The simple act of sharing made their Eid even more special. From that year on, Zainab’s family made it a tradition to include those who were alone in their celebrations.

عيد الفطر

في قرية صغيرة، كان عيد الفطر من أكثر المناسبات المنتظرة. قضت زينب وعائلتها أيامًا في التحضير للعيد، وطهي البرياني والكباب والسيفيان الحلو. هذا العام، لاحظت زينب أن جارها، السيد خان، رجل مسن، يعيش وحيدًا ولا يبدو أن لديه أي زوار.

في يوم العيد، أعدت زينب وإخوتها طبقًا مميزًا من الطعام وأخذوه إلى منزل السيد خان. امتلأت عيناه بالدموع وهو يدعوهم. شاركهم قصصًا من شبابه وشكرهم على لطفهم.

إن مجرد المشاركة جعل عيدهم أكثر تميزًا. ومنذ ذلك العام، دأبت عائلة زينب على إشراك من كانوا بمفردهم في احتفالاتهم.
