A Butterfly’s Day

 A Butterfly’s Day

In a colorful meadow filled with wildflowers, a butterfly named Bella fluttered from bloom to bloom. Bella loved her life in the meadow, but she often wondered what lay beyond it. She had heard stories from the bees about a sparkling lake and tall, mysterious mountains.

One sunny morning, Bella decided to go on an adventure. She said goodbye to her friends and set off toward the horizon. As she flew, she marveled at the sights—a field of sunflowers, a winding stream, and even a group of deer grazing peacefully.

When Bella reached the sparkling lake, she was amazed by its beauty. She dipped down to rest on a lily pad and watched the fish swimming below. “This is the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen,” she thought.

But as the sun began to set, Bella realized she was far from home. She felt a pang of worry—what if she couldn’t find her way back? Just then, a friendly firefly appeared.

“Are you lost?” the firefly asked.

Bella nodded. “I don’t know how to get back to the meadow.”

“Follow me,” the firefly said, lighting the way with its glowing body. Together, they traveled through the darkening sky, past the stream and the sunflowers, until Bella saw the familiar flowers of her meadow.

“Thank you,” Bella said, feeling relieved and happy to be home. From then on, Bella continued to explore, but she always made sure to return before sunset, knowing that home was the best place of all.
